Healthy Crock Pot Dinner

Using a crock-pot to make a meal is cost efficient fast and very easy. It is sometimes difficult to find time to cook which makes using a crock-pot for dinner an appealing option. To make any meal in the morning before going to work and then return home to the cooked meal is very simple. Here are some crock-pot dinners that are fast to prepare and take minimal ingredients.

Salsa Chicken

Ingredients:

6 boneless skinless chicken breast 1 ½ cup of salsa 1 teaspoon ground cumin 3 tablespoons limejuice.

Spray crock-pot with a cooking spray. Place the six chicken breasts into the crock-pot. Pour the salsa over the chicken breasts. With the crock-pot set on low cook the mixture for 6 hours or 3 hours with the crock-pot set on high. Stir in the cumin and lime juice. Cover and allow the new mixture to cook 15 more minutes.

Lemon Chicken

Ingredients:

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts ¼ cup lemon juice 1/3 cup water 2 minced garlic cloves and 1 teaspoon thyme.

Spray the crock-pot with cooking spray. Place the four chicken breasts into the crock-pot. Combine lemon juice water garlic and thyme in small bowl mix combination. Pour over chicken. Cook the mixture for 8 hours on low or 4 hours on high.

Ranch Chicken

Ingredients:

6 boneless skinless chicken breasts 1 can condense cream of chicken soup 1 envelope of ranch salad dressing mix ½ cup of water ½ cup of sour cream 2 tablespoons of ranch dressing and 2 tablespoons of flour.

Spray the crock-pot with cooking spray. Place the six chicken breasts into the crock-pot. In a small bowl combine the condensed soup ranch dressing mix and water. Mix then pour over chicken. Cook the mixture for 8 hours on low or 4 hours on high. Remove the chicken breasts from crock-pot. Stir in sour cream flour and ranch dressing and then add the chicken breast to mixture in crock-pot. Cover and allow the new mixture to cook for 20 minutes on high.
